Billy Pugliese, Ph.D.
Board Member
Billy Pugliese, Ph.D., joined the Volunteer Collective board in Winter 2025 and chairs the programming committee, guiding school and community partnerships. With nearly two decades in K–12 and higher education, she has led schools across the United States and abroad, including Singapore and Mexico. Inspired by the work and scholarship of bell hooks, Billy is drawn to education as a practice of joy and liberation. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two sons and proudly roots for her hometown San Diego Padres.
