Kathy Gonnella
Board Member
Kathy Gonnella is a lifelong Angeleno and dedicated educator with more than 31 years of service in LAUSD. She has worked as a teacher, counselor, coordinator, administrator, and principal, and supervised more than 146 teachers while running the Academic Decathlon. Throughout her career she has been passionate about lending voice to all students so that they are in the position to make their own life choices as opposed to the choices being made for them. Kathy holds degrees from UCLA, CSUN, and LMU, and enjoys country line dancing and travel.
