For Students
Make a real difference while discovering what matters to you.
Whether you need volunteer hours, want to meet new people, explore your interests, or be part of something bigger than yourself, Volunteer Collective connects you with opportunities that match your passions.
Build skills, gain experience, make friends, and create real impact in your community.
More Than Volunteering
Volunteer Collective connects you with nonprofits that will welcome you as a teen volunteer.
Whether you volunteer alone, with your family, or a group of your friends, when you finish a shift you will know that you made a difference.
You and your friends can consider taking on leadership roles by collaborating on a project, making an even greater impact while building teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Whether it be creating a school food pantry, blood drive, or clothing drive, you and your friends will walk away at the end of the project having made a significant difference.
You can join our campaign “Compassionate LA: Hunger has no place here” and have your volunteer hours be focused on a countywide campaign to reduce hunger. We will make sure you know how to join this.
Already good at something? We are developing a Student Fellows program which will connect students with nonprofits that need skills like social media, graphic design, web or app development, photography, videography, and more. Real experience, real impact, using what you're already good at. Stay tuned for the announcement for when this will start. When you register on our site indicate that you are interested in this program for when it starts.
Volunteering, whether it be some individual shifts or a project is a chance to make a difference, build lasting friendships, and help create a more compassionate LA.
