What is Volunteer Collective?

Volunteer Collective is Evolving.

We’re building a new kind of space for people who want to do more than scroll. A virtual community. A toolkit. A launchpad for projects that matter. Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced pro, we’ll connect you to the right space with the right people. This is your chance to be part of something powerful from the ground up.

How we began

Volunteer Collective began during the pandemic as a way to keep us all connected and to work together to solve challenges that no one could do by themselves.

The response was powerful.

People organized toy and clothing drives and shared information about projects and organizations that represented a variety of interests. Engagement with purpose became the new normal.

Over time, the challenges and opportunities to serve our community have grown and Volunteer Collective has continued to respond.

During the 2025 wildfires, Volunteer Collective mobilized to become a hub for disaster relief efforts and thousands signed up to help. We are proud to be part of a tradition of Southern California service, and we are innovating on past accomplishments to help build a better future.
